Holy Catholic Church in Ukraine
The student of the Reformed Seminary in Kyiv (Kiev) Nickolay (Dmitrievich) Troyan was ordained as a deacon of the Orthodox Reformed Church on 13.06.2002 in Kyiv by Archbishop Sergey ( Zhuravlev). On 16.08.2002 deacon Nickolay was ordained as a priest by Bishop Andrey (Tregub) of the Orthodox Reformed Church .... On 15.10.2002 presbyter Nickolay was ordained as a bishop at the liturgy in the Orthodox Reformed Church in the town of Kakhovka with the right to plant other independent churches by Archbishop Sergey ( Zhuravlev).
On 10.03.2005 the church in the village of Lubymivka and in the town of Kakhovka was registered by the State Registry as the Religious Community of the Episcopal Church .
On October 5 , 2006 Bishop Nickolay was “fully and unconditionally” incardinated into the Holy Catholic Church by the Most Rev. Dennis J. Finnegan and the Most Rev. John N. Rubar . On July 7 , 2007 Bishop Nickolay was "granted all legal and ecclesial authority upon behalf of the Holy Catholic Church in Ukraine and the geographical area of Europe. Through the sacred ceremony of laying on of hands and anointing with Holy Chrism he also received the full Apostolic Succession of both the Western (Roman) Rite and the Eastern (Orthodox) Rite and is completely and totally in full communion with the Holy Catholic Church and now serves as our Official Legate " and was raised by the Most Rev. Dennis J. Finnegan to the position of the Metropolitan Archbishop of the Holy Catholic Church in Europe and Ukraine .
On July 8 , 2007 presbyteress Hanna (Troyan) was ordained and consecrated by the Most Rev. Dennis J. Finnegan as a Bishoptress . On 17.12.2007 the church in the village of Malokakhovka was registered by the State Registry . Nowadays we have three churches in the Southern Ukraine ( officially registered ) and a Missionary Station (unregistered ) in the city of Kursk (Russia).
We have three priests : Mother Tetyana ( Malchenko) in Kakhovka ; Father Igor ( Lukashov) in Malokakhovka and Father Alexey (Maslennikov ) in Russia . Regular services are held in the personal houses of the priests. The Most Rev. Hanna and Nickolay hold their services in the village of Lubymivka ..
